The new Carnival Vista, sailing on its maiden voyage, departs Dubrovnik, Croatia, Tuesday, May 3, 2016, on a 13-day Mediterranean cruise. The largest ship in Miami-based Carnival's fleet, Carnival Vista measures 133,500 tons, 1,055 feet long and has a guest capacity of almost 4,000 passengers. Following a summer and fall schedule of Med cruises, the ship is slated to arrive in New York City Nov. 3, 2016, to begin a series of cruises there.
